Review of Smooth E - White BabyFace Foam

Apologies that it took me this long to reveal the samples that Joann from Confirm Trading has sent me two weeks ago. I had came across SmoothE's invitation to try its product. I emailed them, only to get a reply that the trial was extended only to Malaysia consumers. However, Joann (Singapore's distributor) decided to extend a sample of the Smooth E - White BabyFace Foam (1oz) after knowing about my keen interest on soap-free and pH-balanced facial foam.

I was surprised when I opened the envelope that Joann had prepared for me. It was loaded with samples and brochures of products carried by Confirm Trading. Visit Confirm Trading to find out more about their products. You might want to know more about Smooth E - White BabyFace Foam in my previous post here.
As mentioned in my earlier post, my interest in pH-balanced skincare was sparked by vivawoman's "How to test the pH level of your skincare?" Since then, I have been diligently testing the pH of my skincare products and  eliminating the unsuitable ones. Read more about my posts on pH of my skincare here.

Special thanks to Joann from Confirm Trading
for the opportunity to trial this Smooth E facial foam
What attracts me most its 4-in-1 ability to cleanse, tone, moisturize and whiten while doing my routine facial cleansing. I have always loved travelling and this is definitely a god-send product.

Verdict
My Intended Usage of Smooth E - White BabyFace Foam
- twice daily (morning and night - after makeup removal)
- over ten days

I have forgotten to check the pH of this facial foam to verify its claims of pH balanced (oops, did I just mentioned above that I was diligently testing pH of my skincare products). This is an interesting facial foam whereby I am supposed to ensure dry face before placing the foam on my wet hands. It is pearl white in color and doesn't seem to have any fragrance. Its texture is comparable to the Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Face Wash.
A picture that says more than a thousand words.
This Smooth E - White BabyFace Foam 4-in-1 is excellent for my sensitive skin which gives me a refreshing and clean* feel. This also solved my worry about having to skip moisturizer during the day as requested by my dermatologist.
* I did not experience this with Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Face Wash

Meanwhile, I seem to notice that my post-acne marks have lighten more rapidly than usual. It might be Smooth E's MelaWhite or perhaps due to my daily usage of Retin A. However, I chose to believe that it is a higher probability comes from Retin A.

Smooth E - White BabyFace Foam

I became keen on the Smooth E - White BabyFace Foam; which is a 4-in-1 product. Its a cleanser + whitening + toner + moisturizer. This reminds me of the multi-purpose contact lens solution that I used to use for my biweekly contact lenses (I have since switched to dailies contact lens). Isnt the Smooth E - White BabyFace Foam a godsend, especially ladies who travel frequently?

I had redeemed a Smooth E - White BabyFace Foam sample from Fr3b previously, but I wasnt enthusiastic about facial wash that does not foam well. However, of late, in my quest to find an ideal facial wash, I became interested facial foams that are soap-free and pH-balanced.

There are 2 types of cleanser available and both do the cleansing job but which one leaves skin-damaging chemical residues?

1. Bubble Cleansers
- Used for non-human skin cleansing such as floors and etc.,
- Contains “Negative Charges”, which will bind to “Positive Charges” on the skin
- Leaves chemical residues on the skin which is a cause of clog pores, acnes and destroy skin natural moisturizer resulting in fine lines and dry skin

2. Bubble-Free cleansers (non ionic: no electric charge)
- NO negative charges
- NO chemical residues

Why do dermatologists recommend BUBBLE-FREE FACIAL FOAMS?
-Bubble-free facial foam leaves no residues that could cause acne and fine lines
-Effectively reduces acnes and fine lines
-Leaves no dryness after wash-off
-Effectively makes the skin incredibly softer, smoother and cleaner
-Deeply cleans; cleans better than regular facial cleansers
-Causes no irritation even for the most sensitive skin

My sweetness in life

See my loots today!
Oh gosh! I can't wait to tell you what I have gotten today.

The Journey begins :
I was early for my lunch appointment with my sister today.
So, I visited Fr3b Store for some sample therapy.

A closer shot of the samples I checked out today.

Meanwhile, my dear sister, thinking I was late for our "date",
she visited Vichy to redeem her Effaclar sample kit
and Laneige Sleeping Mask while waiting for me.

I spotted an ACP magazine roadshow along Citylink (near Charles and Keith).
(Fyi : it will be ending this Sun, 20 Dec 09)

Having a soft spot for magazine GWP, we grabbed 2 copies!
We need to lucky-dip for our GWP and there are six types of GWP.
(This is creative and is indeed a fairer system)

I won a Loreal - Rebalancing Clay Masque.

Sister won a Bio-Essence - Super Spot Removal Gel.

Next destination : Orchard

Sister has won a Loreal Elseve sms contest.
And so, we visited Loreal office @ Killiney Road.

The prize includes : Philips styling + S$100 worth of Elseve products

A closer shot of the prizes.

Next, we took the opportunity to redeem the "samples" from the magazines.

Women's Weekly Goodies include :

A closer shot of the Vichy Bi-White bundle.

A closer shot of the Ginvera Nutri-White bundle

Cleo Goodies include :

A closer shot of the Lancome Genifique Eye Concentrate 3ml

While we were in Watsons, Palmer's SA gave sister a sachet of Olive Butter.

I bought 2 sets of Clarus - Repair Foot Pack from SASA.
Hope me and sister will have a "quick" foot spa tonight.

I had won a contest hosted by SPH News Centre and had won Redken products!
