I'm back from Shiseido Sale 2010

I couldnt resist the temptation and went for the Shiseido Sale today. I was on time for the sale, but to my surprise, there was already a long "snake" queue (excluding the crowd in the sale room) when I arrived.

Exactly 35mins was spent on queuing and another 20mins wasted for payment. I was inside the room for barely 15mins and was almost left the sale room disappointed. As usual, the Shiseido counters were the most crowded and Ettusais counters with the least products available.

I managed to grab the final piece of Ettusais Mascara 8g. Remaining were the mini-version of the Ettusais Mascara. The Nutri-OX, which caught my attention while queuing for payment, seems to be an ideal haircare product for Mummy's thinning hair.

Aside from that, I bought the Bain De Terre Scalp Masssage Scrub which is made of natural sugar that exfoliates impurities, dead skin cells and product build-up from the hair and scalp. I have always felt that my scalp is getting a little too sensitive with my constant hair-coloring and have even seriously contemplated visiting Phyto Hair Spa for scalp therapy.

Review of Laneige Snow Natural BB Cream

Product : A 10ml Laneige Snow Natural BB Cream

I tried this Laneige Snow Natural BB Cream thrice before sharing my review of this product.

The texture of Laneige Snow Natural BB Cream looks diluted as compared to the Elishacoy Premium Gold Mineral BB Cream and the Dr Jart+ Detox Healing BB Cream that I have reviewed previously. Perhaps because of its watery texture or its Liquid Crystal Essence, it somehow feels moisturizing upon application. However, I need several concentrated dabs of the Snow BB so that it can conceal my flaw better. Overall, it was able to adjust to my skin tone quickly.

In my personal opinion, I think this Laneige Snow BB Cream will work well on normal or dry skin type. As for combination or oily skin type, you might want to apply a thin layer of Laneige / Ettusais Day Protect loose powder for better oil-control. (My Shu Uemura loose powder wasn't able to keep my face matte throughout the day as compared to my Laneige / Ettusais loose powder).

Product : A 15ml ELISHACOY Premium Gold Mineral BB Cream

I tried this Elishacoy Premium Gold Mineral BB Cream a couple of times before sharing my review of this product.

The texture of Elishacoy Premium Gold Mineral BB Cream looks thick but in actual fact, it feels light-weight and evens my skin tone fairly quickly. For better coverage of my skin flaws, I did an additional dab of the BB Cream on the areas I wanna to conceal. I added a light layer of loose powder to give me the flawless skin I loved.

I like the fact that it is non-greasy upon application and it conceals my flaws just the way I like it to be. Do take note that it also offers a high SPF45 PA+++ (sunscreen UV diffusing which blocks off UV rays) which is definitely a (+) benefit to most users like me. In my personal opinion, I think this Elishacoy Premium Gold Mineral BB works well on all skin type. At least it works well on my combination skin type.

DHC : DHC Eyelash Tonic

I bought the DHC Eyelash Tonic while I visited a DHC store in Shibuya, Tokyo. The DHC store was having an attractive promo of 950 yen (~sgd$15.00) per unit and I bought 2 units for trial. I was lazy to read up on the logic behind using this eyelash tonic till yesterday.

My friend only managed to spare me a "Loreal Luxury Sale" for today. This ticket almost went to waste as she only informed me late noon. I wasnt able to spare time and luckily sister finished work earlier today and was able to "pop-by".

She reached there rather late, close to 4pm. All that was left were rather "miserable" products. Those stuffs that we want were OOS. Nevertheless, she still managed to grab some of the below products. There were lots of Lancome foundations during the sale, however, it somehow did not work for me. So lancome foundations were off the wishlist! She bought the Biotherm foundations. At this price, it is indeed worth getting some to test it out.
