Great Things Comes Double
My first surprise came from CozyCot and Radox, who rewarded me with a $50.00 product hamper for being the first 20 cotter to participant in its rave and win.

Is a pity I had to reject this offer as my working hours cant complement their Avalon office working hours. My hectic work schedule also means I cant afford to take time off.

La Roche Posay Redermic Essence
In total, I have 3 tubes of La Roche Posay Redermic Essence sample.
- It was given to me in my Fr3b goodie bag
- I grabbed it from Fr3b store yesterday
- I booked out from CozyCot using my points
Which means its 15ML trial for mum to try. Seriously, this needs to be tried for a longer period to give a more accurate review, as wrinkle won't disappear overnight. Agree ??? A 15ML trial should be quite sufficeint for her to decide whether is this product effective.
Mummy's Review :
It easily absorbs into her wrinkle area without the thick and oil-feeling.

Freebie Day !!!
It is not everyday that I get to claim so much samples without paying a single cent. Pls do not brand me as "cheapo" immediately ok? Do read on about how much efforts I have to contribute in exchange for these samples.
My trip to Fr3b (3rd trip)
It has been 2 weeks since I went to Fr3b as I was too busy to make a trip there specially. I have been reading fellow Fr3b's member blog on the products that they booked out. There were so much products that I was interested yet by the time I reached Fr3b today, it was not available already. Haiz! Can only blame that my arms and legs not quick enough (haha!).
My trip to CozyCot
My next destination is CozyCot office. I was given a chance to trial this newly launched Liese Bubble Hair Color and review it. Its such an hassle to dye my own hair, and so I am looking forward to using this retail size sample. Meanwhile the remaining are samples that I have booked out using CC points.

Remembered that Dear liked the Hex (blue packaging) that I have booked out for him and since Hex (grey packaging) is available, I decided to book 1 tube for dad to trial.
Once again, I took the opportunity to book out mask, this round is Watsons's Bird Nest mask. You might have noticed that I booked out 2 types of shampoos and 1 cleanser. That's because I will be going on a short holiday soon. So its a great excuse to trial them out. Btw, I hate using hotel shampoo & conditioner! They always makes my hair dry and tangles easily. I remembered mentioning that I already have lots of body moisturisers, esp when my Fr3b goodie bag also includes a 400ML Nivea Lotion (old version). But seeing that this newly launched Nivea is about to be OOS, I can't help but to grab 1 bottle.
Lastly, I did not expect Fr3b to even have chips as samples. I grabbed a box to munch tonight (heehee!).

Mentholatum Acnes Bundle Pack
Somehow due to irregular sleeping hours, I kept having some bumps on my face on-and-off. I decided to give "Acnes Sealing Gel" a try since I heard some raves over this Mentholatum Acnes brand, and the $$$ is very affordable.

My Kiehl's pimple cream has finished anyway, so its time for me to try new stuffs. In my opinion, I think almost all pimple cream works the same. I dun particularly find Kiehl's pimple cream fantastic.

My initial intention was to purchase just the Medicated Sealing Gel @ $8.90 (less 20% - student promo) = $7.12. But I ended up purchasing the bundle (Medicated Sealing Gel + Medicated Creamy Wash) @ $9.90 (less 20%) = $7.95 (Watson's round UP to the nearest dollar).

Btw, if you noticed closely, the friendly Watson's cashier gave me 4 packs of the Cure Natural Aqua Gel sample. So sweet of her!

SunSilk 10-Day Treatment
Finally received my SunSilk sample kit today which I had registered 2 weeks ago. SunSilk is aggressively promoting its latest range of haircare which had managed to catch my attention and I wonder how well will it fare? They even tied up with JetStar, whereby all ladies on board will get a sample kit to try. As I wont be taking JetStar for my up-coming HK trip, I got no choice but to keep it. And this means, I wont be able to trial and review till then.

La Roche Posay
Recently due to some sleepless nights for the past 1 week (busy planning my up-coming holiday), 2 bumps appeared on my forehead. Decided to trial this sample from La Roche-Posay which I gotten from CozyCot sampling. I have been using it twice a day for past 3 days.

It did helped to subside the redness slightly, but did not managed to dry them out. I don't think it is effective as a pimple cream, in my opinion.
Q : Will I buy ???
A : No way

SKII : Lee Sinje and Tea Event
Though I am not an SKII user currently, I believe I will convert when I finish using my current "rojak" skincare (consists of Clarins, Lancome, Ettusais, IPSA and Kose). I was in my trial and error stage previously, which accounts for my mistake in purchasing so many brands. They problem with me is, I can't stay still. Whenever I see fellow cotters recommend skincare products, I can't resist to buy and try.

Attended SKII's Lee Sinje and Tea Event today @ Tangs Orchard. I was there there because I wanna see Lee Sin Je in-person. After registration @ 5.35pm, I browse around the SKII counter for product introduction and offers. I must say the offers today are rather tempting. For $300++ onwards, you will be able to get almost the must-have items.

I left the place around 6.40pm as mum was feeling tired. Did not get to meet Lee Sinje, as I was told she will only arrive after 7.15pm. Haha! But at least I managed to see DJ LiYi.
CozyCot Sample
I quite like the idea of CozyCot introducing CozyCot beauty samples. It works like Fr3b, yet it allows the option of self-collection. The points that we have accumulated thru reviews, referrals etc are finally put to good use. Thanks CozyCot!
Went down to CozyCot to collect the samples that I have shortlisted. The procedures are short and simple. Just submit your request, wait for email confirmation, reply with your preferred date and time, show them the email confirmation printout and collect your samples! You have to option to select registered mail if you don't wish to go to CozyCot office.
I prefer to collect my samples from CozyCot then at the skincare outlets. Hates it when the respective SA gives the look that we are out for their brand's freebies. They should understand that if we are all potential customers. We like it, we will surely buy. Agree?

My Review on LANCOME GENIFIQUE!
My Review :

Color : Clear
Smell : Unscented
Texture : Watery
Genifique is neither greasy or sticky. It penerates almost immediately into my skin, making my skin soft & smooth instantly. Genifique is able to keep my skin hydrated throughout the whole day despite my long hours in harsh working environment. Genifique, in
my opinion, has additional abilities which Lancome should highlight too!
Oil Control! Pore Tightening! Skin-Soothing!
Oil-Control : I usually have to blot ~4 times daily. Yet with Genifique added into my daily skincare regimen, I only need to blot not more than twice daily.
Pore-Tightening : I can feel almost immediate constriction of my pores.
Skin-Soothing : I applied it twice daily for 7 days over my "irritated skin" and it is able to calm my skin. My skin feels soothing when I apply it over my pimples especially.

Lancome Genifique : My trial ends today
Special thanks to CozyCot and Lancome for giving me this opportunity to trial Genifique. My 7-day challenge on Lancome Genifique officially ends on 25 Jul 09. I am equally excited as you on the review of Lancome Genifique. Guess what's the outcome? I believe usually when there is new product launch, everyone will be raving about the product from earth to heaven! Well, I wish to be different. I believe in pictures speaking louder than words. So let your eyes convince your mind then.
As you can see, my skin has sort of recovered from the "sudden outbreak" from unsuitable skincare. Thanks Genifique! You indeed lived up to your claims.

SKII : Facial Treatment Essence 30ML
Went down to collect my sample from SKII. As I was around Centrepoint, decided to collect my sample @ Robinsons. The SA is friendly and took her time to do a detailed skin analysis for me. Lucky me! Because I read from CozyCot that the SA mostly skip analysis (can't blame them, the analysis took around 15-20mins including explaination)
I was told my skin elasticity is excellent (perhaps owe it to my "good genes" or Meiji Collagen which I have been taking for the past 3mths). However, the analysis says my skin is dehydrated and pigmentations is on their way! Oh gosh! I have been using sunblock (min SPF 30++ to SPF50++) diligently for the past 8 years without fail. How can this ever occur to me? Once I finish my IPSA SPF30++, I better start looking out for an even better sunblock.
I must constantly remind myself to do mask more often. Currently I am using Clarin HydraQuench Mask, MBD Mask, TFS Mask, TFS Sleeping Mask and Neutrogena DH Mask. Wonder what other better "hydration" masks should I get now?

Lancome Genifique : My trial starts today
Finally, I am on my 7-days trial of Lancome Genifique. In order to be more accurate, I have stopped using my other products eg, Kose / IPSA / Ettusais / Masks. I am only going to apply Genifique only for the next 7-days. There was so much hype about it in CozyCot forum. Wonder how will my skin react? Perhaps no significant improvement? Or perhaps I will get back the skin I was born with? Today, I shall begin ...

I am someone who is usually in very light loose powder + nude lipstick (skip eye make up, not even mascara & lid liner). So, I am pretty amazed how indigo & gold can match our asian skin tone so well. I like the way Lancome's make-up artist guides us step-by-step on the right procedures & share the correct make-up procedures for which face type / eye type. The Lancome crew who let us trial the texture of their products.
